Crispy Chicken Burger (Easy & Family-Friendly)
These Crispy Chicken Burgers are one of those simple, go-to recipes that just make life easier. Made with a handful of basic ingredients, they come together quickly and check the box for a meal everyone will actually eat.
They’re also incredibly meal-prep friendly. I often double the batch and freeze half of them for those nights when you need something fast but still want a solid, nourishing option on the table.
And if you have kids who are hesitant to try something new, this is an easy win. I told mine they were basically chicken nuggets—just in burger form—and that was all it took. You can serve them on a bun, over a salad, or even roll the mixture into smaller meatballs for a simple appetizer or snack.
Easy, flexible, and family-approved—this is one of those recipes you’ll come back to again and again.
Ingredients
1 pound ground chicken
1 cup panko (gluten-free if needed)
¼ cup mayo
3-4 ounces shredded cheddar (I just eyeball it…it’s hard to have too much cheddar!)
Salt & pepper to taste
Avocado oil
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together and form into four patties.
Heat a cast-iron or stainless steel pan over medium heat.
Lightly grease the pan. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on the first side, then 4-6 minutes on the second side. The outside should be crispy and the inside cooked through.
