Healthy & Delicious Salad Recipe Round-Up

I love a good salad, but oftentimes they’re not filling enough, leaving us ravenous shortly after eating it. To fix that, a salad needs varying textures, complimenting flavors, and protein & fiber to fill us up and keep us satisfied. These salads meet those criteria and are ones I go back to again and again in my weekly lunch rotations.

If you’re looking to change up or add more protein, my go-to’s are chicken, shrimp, salmon (filet or canned), beans, quinoa, tofu, tempeh or lentils. If I’m in a hurry, I love adding Applegate’s Pre-Cooked Chicken to my salad; it’s an easy, no-cook way to add a serving of lean protein.
