Pantry Overhauls

Pantries, fridges and freezers have a way of collecting things, and it’s not always things we want, but we feel badly throwing them away. I get it, I talk a lot about reducing food waste and I believe strongly in it. I also believe in surrounding yourself with foods that nourish your body and encourage you to eat healthier. Temptation and will power don’t always play nicely with each other, so instead of repeating the vicious cycle of tempting fate - getting down on ourselves for having something “bad” - throwing in the towel because “what’s the point?” let’s work together to reduce the temptation all together. We’ll see what you currently have, what’s expired and explore some healthier alternatives for when those not-yet-expired but maybe-not-as-good-for-you items do run out.


What to expect

We’ll work together to go through your pantry, fridge & freezer to first see what’s expired (did you know spices have an expiration date?), and then see what we can keep and what might eventually want replacing. After the overhaul, I’ll send you a report of my recommended food swaps, where to shop for them, as well as some recipes to get you started with your new ingredients.
